Does the curriculum have high-quality, developmentally appropriate content?
Frog Street Pre-K materials partially meet expectations for providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate content across domains. The program includes a broad range of developmentally appropriate content organized through thematic units that support integrated learning. Instructional routines and activities provide strong opportunities for children to engage in social-emotional development and language and literacy. Additionally, there are missed opportunities for greater clarity and coherence in mathematics, science and engineering, social studies, and fine arts, as well as for more clearly and systematically articulating how learning builds within and across these domains over time.
